This exhibition is dedicated to Francesco Radino. The Galleria Gottardo’s attention to contemporary Italian photography will thus be enriched by the images captured in its latest project. With few but focused exhibitions, the Galleria Gottardo is gradually positioning itself within the panorama of international photography. We would prefer to follow a more intense course but in any case, for the Galleria, photography is only one element of the wider field of human activity. Photography remains, however, a focal point of the cultural activity carried on by the Galleria for over a decade, mostly oriented towards Italian photography both contemporary and not.
(...) Radino’s photographs do not belong to any particular genre. Instead, and on a par with this, they host a grand variety of figures of diverse nature, preferably simple, all equally responsible for and actively involved in the destiny of the images.
